The wonderful reception of 200 Gray’s Inn Road sought to adapt the space to the actual work culture of modern offices; one which blurs the edges between work and leisure. One of the main features, it has been incorporating a total of 25 m2 of Fytotextile® modules to cover by stripes the right-hand sidewall between others. Combined with planting pots distributed and an extra-large glass window, it’s providing a stronger connection between the external, urban environment and the building’s interior.
Therefore, the striped indoor living walls are part of this beautiful project developed by Conran and Partners. The building’s architecture uses materials simple but robust, like granite, aluminum, and glass. The designers have tried to complete this frame with authentic materials – including terrazzo, metal, timber, leather – adding plants and natural light as the final touch to create a special environment.
